Under the current law, if you plead guilty or are found guilty of any DWI section, your CDL license will be revoked for 1 year even on a DWAI.

Individuals must apply to DMV after the 1-year revocation. You DO NOT have to be using your CDL to have it revoked which most people believe. You can be in your own personal vehicle and still receive the revocation. Before the Law was changed, if you pled to or were found guilty of DWI as a misdemeanor, you could get a Certificate of Relief from Civil Disabilities. This would allow you to continue to use your CDL license during the revocation. Currently, you CAN NOT use the CDL under any form on a DWI conviction.

We conduct face to face consultations that allow us & the individual to evaluate our abilities to defend the client’s specific case needs. Please send us a message or call our office at 1-833-BEAT-DWI in order to set up an appointment.
